Port Hidor was a group project where I worked on a team of four to complete a much larger gameplay experience. A normal player would take somewhere around thirty minutes to complete our level from start to finish. The level was a single player linear experience and used streaming volumes to bring in and take out each level as the player progressed. I personally worked on the level layout for the entire map, built the entirety of sections 2, 3 and 4 of the five sections and did all the Kismet within those areas. I also worked on sections 1 and 5 to some extent to help them be polished. This level was completed from start to finish within two weeks.
The walkthrough is Carmine has gone missing in the streets of the city Port Hidor. Marcus must fly in and meet up with Dom to create a search party. The area is known to have a large amount of hostiles, but they refuse to leave Carmine alone. The player must fight through the streets towards Carmine's last known location and then meet up with the helicopter at the harbor. Once the player finds Carmine and makes it to the harbor, they have to play defensive as hordes of enemies attack them while they wait for the helicopter to arrive.
